Welcome to the BOOKSHELF!

(tldr, 17+) | The bookshelf handles a wide range of topics, from technically 18+ content (not smut) to regular stories.

You need to read the warnings before each story to understand if it's appropriate for you, as this is the content itself is complex enough to defy any one traditional warning or age gate I can give you. Besides, I know that a lot of people read above and below their intended maturity level, so ymmv.

Hale Moon - Read Now

Every night is the same nightmare... he goes to sleep, he flees, and he dies.

For years and years of Hale's life, his nightly routine has been the same. It's his fear that keeps him this way, two steps into Hell, and two steps back into this fold. Every night that he wakes up in silent tears, he reasons with himself that there's nothing to be done.

However, like many things in this world, there's always a way forward. And when Hale has to reach that point, he shoves his hands into his pockets and does so.

This path leads to somewhere he fears, the Magia Clinic. He knows not why he fears it, but it's overwhelming to him. It's almost like the feeling of 'fear' came to him in his dreams; something to just feel and to not understand.

And he's correct. It's not for HIM to understand, but for... another.

His 'way forward' comes to him as a stranger.

Durand - Coming Soon!

Calla Durand's parents and other doting relatives always taught her to be a beautiful, mindful lady, to be well-mannered and even-tempered, and to be a perfect wife to seek out her success in the social fields. Calla agreed completely, eagerly chasing her destiny with not so much as a step outside of pure grace. She was well loved, appreciated, and beautiful, and it was no surprise that she was married before her 22nd birthday.

However, following a string of ungraceful events that she deemed nothing more than illness or vertigo, Calla began to notice something strange. Her neighbors began to forget things that she did, eyed her strangely in the halls, sometimes even treated her like a complete stranger.

It all came to a head as she begged her husband in tears, 'why, why are you doing this to me,' as she was kicked out of her own home, treated like a stranger, and sent packing. She saw no love in his eyes, and, in fact, she could not see herself in them, either.

When she came to her senses, she knocked on the door of the only place she knew to go: to the house of the man who was said to cure the sick and perform the most powerful reversals, but also had a known correlation to black magic.
